Pre-dance
Our Pre‑Dance Ballet & Tap class helps young dancers build a strong foundation by starting off right. This 55‑minute beginning‑level class introduces students to the basic movements and terminology that become the building blocks of all future dance training.
In Pre‑Dance, dancers learn how to follow direction from their teacher while interacting with classmates their age—supporting healthy socialization, confidence, and independence.
We structure the class to teach proper technique in a way that is fun, imaginative, and motivating. Why is dance so important for young children? They build friendships, coordination, musicality, and cognitive skills while enjoying every minute of class.
To keep our tiniest dancers engaged, classes often include games and other props that make learning feel magical. By the end of the season, you’ll be amazed at how much your dancer has grown—both on and off the dance floor..
Our Pre‑Dance program is designed for children who are 3 years old by September 1st and must be fully potty trained. Dancers explore the basic movements of tap and ballet through music, imagination, and playful structure.
This class helps young dancers:
Grow confidence through stories, props, and creative movement
Build motor skills and coordination
Develop rhythm and musical awareness
Practice classroom skills like waiting in line, taking turns, and following directions
